FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What type of events do you play?

 

We are a professional function band that specialise in weddings, corporate events, private and military functions.  We are happy to perform at festivals and other events too.

 

 

How long will the band take to setup?

 

This will depend of the package you go for.

 

A full lighting rig and PA for a large audience will take longer to set up than a smaller rig for an intimate wedding.  The ease of access to the venue will also be a factor.

 

We will require a minimum of 1 hour for a smaller set up and up to 2 hours for a large rig set up and sound check.

 

 

How long will you play for?

 

A typical performance would be either 2 x 1 hour sets or 3 x 40 minute sets.  However, we are able to play for longer based on your requirements.

 

This must be agreed upon in advance.

 

 

Can we decide what songs are performed?

 

We carefully select the songs we play in our set to suit the occasion, and are more than happy to discuss our set and let you decide if there are any songs you would like us to leave out or play.

 

We are happy to look at learning a first dance song for your big day.  However, there will be an additional cost for this and we may recommend that the original CD version of the song is played, as not all music is suited to every band

 

 

How much space do you require?

 

Typically the performance area (or stage) should be 4 metres wide x 3 metres deep (minimum).

 

We can set up in smaller spaces if required, but please let us know in advance or contact us for advice.

How does the band dress for a function?

 

Our standard dress for functions is smart formal dress.  Each band member has his own style in keeping with the occasion.

 

If you event has a colour scheme or a theme, we are happy to discuss options with you.

 

 

How much do you charge?

 

Every client has a different requirement and needs, obviously this will incur a different fee.

What are your payment terms?

 

We require a £300.00 non refundable deposit to confirm the booking.  The full balance is due 14 days before the event. If the event is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the event, full payment is due.

 

Does your band have public liability insurance and PAT tested equipment?

 

We have public liability insurance up to £5,000,000 and all our equipment is annually PAT tested.

 

 

Do you offer any other services apart from live music?

 

We are able to provide additional services such as a DJ or other special requirements through our sister company Fuzzy Events.

How far are we able to travel?

 

We have played a number of events all over the country and abroad and are happy to travel pretty much anywhere.
